Good Old AC/DC
I went to this show for sentimental reasons only. Since 1977, I've been a fan and hadn't seen them live since 1986. I knew it would be fun but figured they were past their prime. When they went into the 2nd song, "Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be," I knew something was up right away. They stuck exclusively to the old stuff, except for a bunch of songs from "Black Ice" which were a bore - except for the opener "Rock 'n' Roll Train" and "Thunderstruck." They delivered what we want as best they can, and it's still pretty good for a bunch of not so old - ahh, they're old. Phil Rudd is in the band (hadn't seen him since '79), so the classic combo is still in business, showing some moments of greatness. It's pretty amusing how they used to be the most bad-ass band around, and now there's loads of parents bringing little kids out to see them at the stadium.
